Doreen Louise (Frederick) Lampert

Age 62, passed away on Friday evening, March 26, 2004 at her home in Ethel,WA after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Ross, CA to Harold and Louise (Thomson) Frederick on March 12, 1942. She lived in various places in Washington since 1950. She was a 1960 graduate of Clover Park High School in Lakewood and a graduate of Crel Beauty College in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1962. She worked for JCPenney in Lakewood and West Seattle as a bookkeeper and buyer, for Onalaska Schools as the concessions manager, and was an Avon Representative since 1975. She married Dennis Earl Lampert in Lakewood on June 6, 1964. The couple lived in Lakewood, West Seattle, Kodiak, Alaska, San Mateo, California, Washougal and finally Lewis County. She was a member of Ethel Loyal Neighbors for 20 years, VFW Auxiliary Onalaska/Toledo, Onalaska Cancer Support Group and served on the Board for the First Church of God of Onalaska as secretary and treasurer. She was a volunteer for Onalaska schools for many years as chaperone. She is survived by her husband, Dennis E. Lampert of Ethel, WA; 2 children: daughter, Darcie Lampert of Sekiu, WA; son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Laina Lampert of Tacoma, WA; 1 foster son and his wife, Bert and Valerie Gooch of Tacoma, WA; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin, Abraham, and Thalia Lampert; 2 foster grandchildren, Beth and Michael Gooch; parents, Harold and Louise (Thomson) Frederick of Olympia, WA; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Terri Frederick of Bothell, WA; mother-in-law, Betty (Wiley) Lampert of Tacoma, WA; sister-in-law and her husband, John and Nancy Schick of Buffalo, NY; and numerous extended relatives as well as special friends. Memorial donations or flowers may be left for the family in care of the First Church of God of Onalaska, 133 3rd Ave./ P.O. Box 245, Onalaska, WA 98570. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 3rd at 1pm at the Onalaska High School gym with Pastor Lloyd Mulkins officiating.
